India, Which Is India, Is An Ancient Civilization. It Is Considered A Holy Nation, Its People Are Very Religious. People Of Different Religions Live In India; Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Parsis, Jains Etc. And They Follow Their Religions With Full Devotion. But It Is The Bitter Truth Of Our Country That All Cleanliness And Piety Is Limited To Religious Activities And Kitchens Only.

We Are Not Serious For The Filth Of Indian Indians, Anywhere, We Can See The Dirt Of Any Kind. Keeping The Environment Around You Clean And Clean Is Not In Our Practice. More And More We Keep Our House Clean And We Are Worried About Roads, Roads, Parks Or Public Places. This Is Not Our Problem. Even After 65 Years Of Independence, It Is Really Embarrassing That The Indian Is Famous For Its Unhealthy Behavior.

More Recently, The New Government Has Come To Power And Its Main Priority Is To Clean India. And For This Purpose, The Government Started A Campaign Called “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan”.

The Government Has Associated The Nation’s Father Mahatma Gandhi With This Campaign As He Was A Great Supporter Of Cleanliness Work In The Country And He Remained Associated With Cleanliness And Hygiene Activities Throughout His Life.

What Is Clean India Campaign?

Clean India Movement: With The Aim Of Making India Clean, This Campaign Started By Prime Minister Narendra Modi On October 2, 2014 At Rajghat, New Delhi. Its Goal Is To Provide Sanitation Facilities To All Families By 2 December, 2019, Solid And Liquid Waste Disposal System, Cleanliness In The Village And Adequate Drinking Water Available.

This Will Be The Most Appropriate Tribute To The Father Of The Nation On His 150th Birth Anniversary. It Is Very Important That The Prime Minister Himself Is Playing Proactive Role In Making This Campaign A Success; On Rajghat, He Himself Cleaned The Streets And Started This Campaign.

Whereas, It Has Already Been Determined That This Campaign Is Not Only The Duty Of The Government, But The Responsibility Of Making The Nation Clean Is All Citizens Of This Country.

History Of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan

The Movement Of Swachh Bharat Movement Has Been A Major Step Towards Sanitation Till Date. In Order To Make This Campaign World-Wide And To Make The Public Aware Of It, About 3 Lakh Government Employees, Including Schools And College Students, Took Part In It On Its Commencement.

The Program Was Organized In Rashtrapati Bhavan On October 2, 2014 In The Presence Of 1,500 People. Indian President Pranab Mukherjee Started The Movement By Showing The Flag.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Has Nominated Nine Famous Persons Associated With Trade, Sports And Film Industries To Pursue This Campaign. He Also Pleaded With The Nine Persons That They And Nine Persons Should Join This Campaign And Bring This Movement Of Cleanliness To Every Indian Living In The Corners Of The Country.

Narendra Modi Said That This Campaign Should Be Taken As A Challenge And Should Invite Other Nine People (Like Branches Of Trees), By Which This Approach Of Cleanliness Will Be Completed By 2019 And India Is Always Clean In History. Become A Country

On 3 January 2015, Indo-Nepal Doctor Asosian Started A Campaign, Inspired By This Indian Campaign, Which Was Called “Clean India Nepal – Clean India Nepal Campaign”. It Started Its Indo-Nepal Border Area, Sunoli-Belhihia (Lord Buddha’s Birth Place, Holy City, Lumbini, Nepal).

The Second Program Of Cleanliness In India, Such As The Central Rural Sanitation Program (CRSP), Was Started In The Whole Country In 1986, Which Was Centered On Creating A Healthful Toilets For The Personal Use Of People Below The Poverty Line.

Its Purpose Was To Transform Dry Toilets Into Healthier Toilets Prepared For Low Cost, Especially Toilets For Rural Women And Other Facilities Such As Hand Pumps, Baths, Health Care, Hand Cleaning Etc.

It Was A Goal That All Available Facilities Would Be Properly Nurtured By The Gram Panchayat. A Proper Awareness Of The Village Such As Drainage System, Drying Pit, Disposal Of Solid And Liquid Waste, Awareness Of Health Education, Social, Personal, Domestic And Environmental Sanitation System Etc.

In 1999, The Clean Sanitation Campaign (TSC) Of India Was Started By The Indian Government To Rebuild The Rural Cleanliness Program. Nirmal Gram Puraskar Started In The Month Of June 2003 Under The Cleanliness Program To Promote Full Cleanliness Campaign.

This Was An Incentive Scheme, Which Was Given By The Government Of India In 2003 For Providing Comprehensive Information Of Complete Sanitation, To Keep The Environment Clean, Along With Panchayat, Block, And Districts To Liberate The Village From Open Defecation Was.

Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan Was Inaugurated In 2012 And After That Swachh Bharat Campaign Started In October 2, 2014. While All The Sanitation And Sanitation Programs Being Run By The Indian Government In The Past Were Not As Effective As The Present 2014 Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
